I was going to post this as a comment, but I feel that it warrants a full post.
People: nothing has to be sorted out. The house is yours as long as you pay your part of the bills. Everything else is small stuff that can be straightened out in mere minutes.
Me and Malcolm were talking and we (or at least I) feel that we need to sort out the big stuff first, such as how much money everyone pays. Really, that's the ONLY thing that is really important. The small stuff (chores, food sharing, bathroom usage, etc) is almost insignificant.
I guess what I'm saying is this: listen to me as I have experience living on my own. Don't make up your own problems because I know what problems have to be dealt with and what problems would be nice to solve but aren't necessary.
That being said, we did seem to skirt around the issues involving money. A few: internet choice (sympatico ultra high speed), fridges in rooms (I say no way in hell, but if you absolutely need 3 cold beers in your room, whatever), dryer usage (haha, yeah right), and cable (you want it? pay for it.). See, all the "problems" solved in one post.
I hate to say this, but the house needs some form of leadership. The bills are in my name, but that doesn't mean I should be that leader.
There. Done ranting for the night. Comments?
